Job DescriptionDescription: VMC Group is continuing to invest in digital transformation to improve operational visibility, strengthen data-driven decision making, and standardize business processes across the organization. Epicor ERP serves as the core platform supporting our finance, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. We are seeking a Epicor ERP Business Analyst to join our IT team. This role supports the ongoing improvement, adoption, and operational use of Epicor ERP across the business. The position works closely with operational teams and senior ERP leadership to help enhance business processes, reporting capabilities, and system functionality. This role requires a blend of operational ERP knowledge and technical capability. The ideal candidate understands how Epicor supports manufacturing and supply chain operations while also being comfortable creating reports, dashboards, and light customizations within the Epicor platform. A key initiative for this role will be assisting with the continued rollout and adoption of the Epicor Kinetic Web UI, helping guide users through the transition while supporting enhancements using Application Studio. Responsibilities not limited to: Epicor ERP Operational Support • Support day-to-day Epicor ERP functionality across manufacturing and operational teams, • Assist business users with Epicor workflows, troubleshooting, and system usage, • Support operational modules including:, • Production Management, • Inventory Management, • Financial Management, • Supply Chain and Purchasing, • MES (Manufacturing Execution System), • Epicor Kinetic Warehouse (EKW), • Assist with the continued uplift and rollout of the Epicor Kinetic Web UI, • Support business users as they transition from classic screens to the Kinetic interface, • Develop and maintain Application Studio customizations to improve user experience and workflows, • Develop and maintain BAQs, dashboards, and data views to support operational reporting, • Create and maintain SSRS reports used by operational and finance teams, • Work with internal stakeholders to understand operational workflows and system requirements, • Document business processes and system configurations, • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of Epicor functionality, • Utilize Epicor REST APIs to support integrations, automation, and data access when needed, • Assist with troubleshooting integration or data issues between Epicor and other systems, • Participate in ERP-related initiatives including system improvements, module enhancements, and integrations, • Assist with system configuration, testing, and user acceptance testing, • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience, • 3–5+ years experience working with Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 / Kinetic preferred), • Experience supporting ERP systems within manufacturing environments, • Strong understanding of ERP-driven operational processes including:, • Production, • Inventory control, • Supply chain, • shop floor operations, • Experience developing BAQs, dashboards, and operational reporting, • Experience working with SSRS reporting, • Experience customizing Epicor using Kinetic Application Studio, • Experience working with Epicor REST APIs, • Ability to translate operational requirements into system configurations and reporting solutions, • Ability to travel up to 25%Skills & Competencies, • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; able to translate technical concepts into practical solutions and collaborate with both technical and operational teams., • Organization: Highly organized with strong time management; able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and clear documentation., • Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 /Kinetic), • Epicor Operational Modules (Production, Inventory, Supply Chain, MES, EKW), • BAQs, UBAQs, and Epicor dashboards, • SSRS Reporting, • Epicor Application Studio, • Epicor REST APIs, • AI Tools, • Microsoft Office / Excel, • Basic SQL knowledge preferred At VMC Group we believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally.
