Job DescriptionDescription: Job Title: Warehouse Associate Department: Warehouse Reports To: Warehouse Manager Date: 03/13/2026 BASIC FUNCTION The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely fulfillment of customer and internal orders, and compliance with company safety and operational standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips., • Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment and procedures., • Record and track materials received and distributed using logistics software., • Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes., • Read and interpret customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine required items., • Pull, pack, and stage orders for shipment or internal distribution., • Assemble customer orders and prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, or other carriers., • Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established procedures., • Open boxes, crates, and containers as needed to process incoming goods., • Maintain supply inventory using logistics software platforms (SAP experience preferred)., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment., • Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing work areas., • Assist with inventory reporting and operational evaluations., • Perform other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Education • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and logistics software platforms., • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to read and interpret operating instructions, procedures, correspondence, and safety guidelines., • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages., • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, UPS meters, and FedEx systems (or willingness to obtain certification). WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Work performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, and occasional fumes., • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping., • Must be able to lift and move items up to 75 pounds occasionally.
