Job Description Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments of parts and materials, verifying counts, and organizing inventory efficiently. Your role will also include processing orders, pulling parts or materials, and palletizing and wrapping outbound shipments. We are looking for candidates with direct warehousing experience, particularly those with a background in shipping and receiving. Responsibilities • Receive inbound shipments and verify counts., • Put away inventory efficiently., • Process orders and pull parts or materials., • Palletize and wrap outbound shipments., • Experience with sit down forklifts., • Experience with stand up forklifts., • Proficiency in using a cherry picker., • Previous experience in warehousing. Work Environment The work environment is a clean and organized warehouse and distribution center. It is not climate-controlled, so adaptability to varying temperatures is necessary. The team is busy, and while new hires may feel they need more support initially, teamwork and collaboration are strongly encouraged. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, t-shirts, and steel toe boots. The shift is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
