Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description This role supports a large wash plant facility by performing a wide range of warehouse and construction-related tasks, including loading and unloading materials, hauling and moving inventory, assisting with concrete and construction labor, and maintaining a clean and safe jobsite. The warehouse worker helps ensure materials flow efficiently through the facility while strictly following safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Responsibilities • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles in a safe and efficient manner., • Haul, move, and stage construction materials throughout the warehouse, wash plant, and jobsite as directed., • Perform concrete labor and general construction labor tasks to support ongoing projects., • Pick, sort, and organize materials to ensure accurate placement, inventory control, and easy access., • Assist with logging and documenting materials, including tracking inventory and recording movements as needed., • Support warehouse management and stockroom operations by organizing materials and maintaining orderly storage areas., • Clean and maintain the jobsite and warehouse areas, ensuring walkways and work zones remain free of debris and hazards., • Follow OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety procedures at all times, including proper use of PPE., • Contribute to maintaining a safe, PPE-driven environment by reporting hazards and following corrective actions., • Remain open to feedback and direction within a large, corporate-style facility and adjust work practices as required.Essential Skills, • Experience with loading and unloading materials, including operating in a warehouse or construction environment., • Hands-on experience with construction labor and concrete labor tasks., • Ability to move, haul, and handle materials manually for extended periods., • Experience with picking, sorting, and organizing materials in a warehouse or stockroom setting., • Familiarity with logging and documenting materials and basic inventory control practices., • Understanding of OSHA safety practices and the ability to work safely in a jobsite and warehouse environment., • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly jobsite and warehouse area., • Comfort working in a large, structured facility and receiving ongoing feedback., • Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for the duration of the shift.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • OSHA 10 certification., • Experience in construction labor, including work around concrete and construction materials., • Knowledge of safe work practices and maintaining a clean and organized site., • Familiarity with PPE requirements and consistent use of safety equipment., • Background in warehouse management or stockroom operations., • Experience working in or around wash plant or similar industrial facilities is a plus.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a large wash plant facility in Farmingdale. The typical schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., focusing on loading and unloading materials and supporting ongoing construction and warehouse activities throughout the day. The environment is highly safety- and PPE-driven, with strong emphasis on following OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety procedures. The facility operates in a structured, large corporate-style setting where processes, standards, and feedback are integral to daily operations. Work is physically demanding and involves manual labor in and around industrial equipment, warehouse areas, and outdoor or semi-outdoor jobsite conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
