Job Description Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Facilities Technician job for our direct client. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting building services, safety compliance, shipping and receiving backup duties, and general facility operations. Candidates must be Forklift Certified and have basic computer skills. Facilities Technician job responsibilities: • Perform daily morning walkthroughs of the building, including conference room setup and general inspection of cleaning, • Unlock office doors and desk drawers as requested, • Create and program ID/access cards for employees and contractors and log temporary IDs, • Coordinate internal space planning and employee/contractor moves, • Coordinate shredding bin pickup and escort supplier as needed, • Tour parking lot and property for debris, inspect lighting, and report issues to Chief Engineer, • Replace office light bulbs and perform minor repairs to facility, furniture, and equipment, • Interface with external suppliers and vendors, • Assign day porter duties and ensure cleaning standards are met, • Ensure copier areas are stocked and organized, • Review invoices in V360 and enter purchase requisitions in Oracle, • Utilize Microsoft Office products including Word, email, and spreadsheets, • Conduct monthly fire extinguisher documentation checks, • Inspect eye wash stations, roof hatch, ladders, elevators, and hazardous materials storage during daily tours, • Serve as backup to Shipping/Receiving Clerk by receiving, logging, and delivering packages, • Operate dock equipment including forklift and electric pallet jack, • Sort and deliver incoming mail and process outgoing overnight shipments, • Monitor shredding bins and coordinate additional pickups as needed, • Manage beverage inventory and deliver supplies for internal meetings, • Forklift Certification required, • Basic computer skills required, • Ability to perform minor facility repairs, • Strong organizational and communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and interface with internal and external stakeholders Please note: Applying to this role is an agreement to have your information entered into our database and acknowledgement that a recruiter will reach out to you either by phone, email, and/or text message regarding this and similar job opportunities.
