Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Role based in Holmdel, NJ. The Sales Consultant (what we refer to as a Tour Director) will oversee the full sales cycle for custom student performance tours, including prospecting new school and arts program clients, qualifying leads, and presenting tailored tour solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with educators and program leaders, preparing proposals and quotes, and collaborating with Tour Directors to ensure accurate and compelling tour offerings. As you grow within the organization, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities and play an integral role in shaping the future of EPT's sales department. Business Development & Revenue Growth • Maintain and grow your own portfolio of clients and actively contribute to company sales goals., • Prospect and develop relationships with educators, performing arts programs, and school decision-makers nationwide., • Represent EPT at conferences, conventions, school visits, and industry events to generate new business opportunities. Client Consultation & Sales Management • Design and present customized student travel programs tailored to each group's educational goals, budget, and performance objectives., • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through contract execution and booking., • Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business and multi-year partnerships. The Ideal Candidate: • Has 3-5 years in the Student Tour & Travel Industry, • Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals., • Thinks strategically but is willing to roll up their sleeves and contribute individually., • Is relationship-driven, highly organized, and energized by helping clients create meaningful experiences., • Existing relationships within the music education, performing arts, educational, or student travel communities., • Solid organizational and project coordination abilities to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines., • Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools (Google Workspace, Excel Basics, Adobe), • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively., • Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment and interact professionally with clients., • Prior experience in sales, travel, hospitality, or education
