Job DescriptionDescription: Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Southwest Location: Remote (Southern CA) Department: Sales Reports to: VP, C&I Sales, West FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time Key Duties & Responsibilities Regional Sales Leadership • Manage relationships across national distribution chains, independent distributors, national/corporate accounts, end users, contractors, ESCOs, lighting manufacturers’ RSMs, and representative firms within assigned markets., • Lead and develop employees and sales representative networks, overseeing training, pricing, quoting, and product updates., • Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and strategic areas for expansion. Agency & Partner Management • Direct agent relationships, regularly evaluating performance and providing guidance on priorities, scheduling, negotiations, and long-term strategies., • Upgrade and align agency partnerships as needed to support MaxLite’s strategic objectives and growth initiatives. Sales Execution & Support • Provide daily support and direction to maximize sales volume across all distribution channels., • Collaborate with project, design/build, and energy teams at key distributors and ESCOs to build project pipelines and accelerate LED business growth., • Track and manage projects in MaxLite’s CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up, customer satisfaction, and successful execution. Market Strategy & Analysis • Conduct competitor analysis to assess MaxLite’s market position and inform tactical and strategic decision-making., • Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to develop effective promotions and drive sales through distributor partners. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities • Manage regional sales expenses, including promotional funds, operational budgets, and travel costs., • Provide timely communication to management regarding sales metrics, competitor intelligence, lost business insights, and regional developments., • Represent MaxLite at regional and national trade shows as required.
