Job Description As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness standards are met while providing pleasant and professional service to all guests. Your specific duties in this role will include: • Maintain a clean and organized supply cart., • Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens., • Change linen and make beds., • Sweep, scrub, and mop floors., • Dust furniture and fixtures., • Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills., • Clean and sanitize bathrooms., • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area., • Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies., • Replenish guest room supplies, i.e. drinking glasses, bathroom amenities and writing supplies., • Ensure lost and found articles are tagged and turned into management., • Inspect room for maintenance needs and check all fixtures, equipment and room conditions (television, radio, lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings, and maintenance. Report deficiencies., • Clean lobby, lounge, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways as assigned., • Clean all assigned guest rooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed. Requires ability to walk and stand during the entire work shift. Requires ability to push a vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in routine daily work activities. Wash, rinse and dry all door jambs, under hood and exterior. Cleaning and scrubbing wheels and tires., • Finalize detail, wax, remove swirl marks around panels that were wet sanded and buffed. Remove all wax. Inspect vehicle completely outside under proper lighting., • Fill out final Quality Control sheet documenting mileage and sign off that completed detail was performed., • Keep detail area clean and organized. Assist other departments in the maintenance of all equipment., • Perform related work as required by management. Keep all bottles used labeled correctly. If worn off or needing replacement, inform management. Requirement of Work:, • Thorough knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety equipment provided., • Knowledge if what chemicals are used and review of safety data sheet per chemical., • Ability to multi-task.
