JOB DESCRIPTION The Field Supervisor is a member of our outside plant division, directed by the Construction Manager. The primary role of the Field Supervisor will be to lead our in-house fiber underground/ micro trenching construction crews, be responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. They will supervise the foreman and crews performing work at each job site. This position will be accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes. RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide on-site management of field related activities on construction project site, • Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, within budget, and schedule, • Perform inspection of job sites and individual work duties, • Attend pre-construction meetings with cities, • Assist in training foreman and crew members, • Create and maintain positive relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, • Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling and material control, • Manage QC program to ensure quality work in the field, • Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required, • Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built, • White lining projects, • Traffic control set up, • Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices, • Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working, • Minimum 5 years of fiber underground construction supervisory experience, • Experience with trenching, micro trenching, boring, cable installation, aerial construction, and fiber splicing projects, • Excellent communication skills and supervisory skills with field construction personnel, • Strong project management skills, • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to compose and respond to professional emails, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for creating, maintaining, and tracking spreadsheets and production reports, • Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and file sharing, • Health insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • 401(k), • Paid time off, • Referral program, • Advancement and promotion opportunities Pramira is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
