    Job Summary: The Woodworking Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the woodshop, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role includes supervising staff, managing workflow, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with designers or clients to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of woodworkers, carpenters, and finishers. Plan and assign daily work schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Monitor quality control and ensure craftsmanship meets company standards. Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies; order as needed. Ensure all safety procedures and shop regulations are followed. Train and mentor new team members on woodworking techniques and machinery use. Coordinate with project managers or designers regarding production timelines and design details. Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on woodworking equipment. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Woodworking Foreman or Senior Carpenter. Strong leadership and communication skills. Deep knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, finishing, and materials. Ability to read and understand detailed blueprints and design drawings. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance of woodworking machinery. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certificate preferred.

    Company: All Quartz Marble & Granite Location: Whippany, NJ Job Type: Full-time About Us All Quartz Marble & Granite is a fast-growing, family-owned stone fabrication shop specializing in quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite countertops, vanities, and custom work. We run modern CNC equipment (Park Industries Titan & Voyager) and are building a high-performance production team. We’re looking for an experienced AlphaCam / CNC Programmer who knows stone, understands shop flow, and can help us push speed and quality at the same time. Responsibilities Program daily jobs for Park Industries Titan 4700 and Voyager using AlphaCam (and/or Park software). Import digital templates, clean geometry, and optimize nests for material yield and cut time. Create toolpaths for: Sinks, cooktops, faucet holes Edge profiles and miters Radius work, notches, and custom shapes Set and refine feeds, speeds, and tool parameters for quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite. Work directly with templaters and shop foreman to: Review jobs Catch errors before cutting Reduce remakes and rework Maintain and update a program library / standards for recurring jobs. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues related to programming (offsets, toolpaths, collisions, etc.). Contribute ideas to improve production speed, quality, and material yield. Requirements Experience programming AlphaCam (or similar CAD/CAM) in a stone shop. Hands-on experience with CNC stone machinery, ideally Park Industries Titan and/or Voyager. Strong understanding of: Slab layout Vein matching Sink reveals Overhangs, miters, and laminations Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, templates, and customer layouts. High attention to detail and pride in sending clean, correct programs out to the floor. Reliable, organized, and able to keep up in a busy production environment. Nice to Have Experience with digital templating systems. Knowledge of tooling, polishing sequences, and edge profiles. Previous lead or supervisory experience in a fabrication shop. We deliver high-quality work with seamless project execution. Position Overview We are seeking a Construction Administrator with 5+ years of experience. You will support project managers and field teams, manage documentation, track schedules, enter daily labor logs, and coordinate between office, field, subcontractors, and clients. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, construction administration experience, and basic QuickBooks knowledge are required for communicating with our 3rd-party bookkeeper. Key Responsibilities Organize project documentation (contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders). Track materials, deliveries, and assist with permits and inspections. Communicate updates to foremen, subs, clients, and PMs. Enter daily labor logs in Contractor Foreman, Procore, or similar software. Manage photos and documentation in CompanyCam. Prepare invoices, payment applications, and assist with billing reconciliation. Use advanced Excel formulas for budgets, labor, and material tracking. Communicate financial and job cost information with 3rd-party bookkeeper using QuickBooks. Support project closeout documentation (O&Ms, warranties, punch lists). Requirements 5+ years in construction administration/project coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel advanced formulas, Word, Outlook). Basic knowledge of QuickBooks for communication with bookkeeper. Experience with CompanyCam and construction management software preferred. Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, and change order processes.
