What You’ll Actually Do • Meet business owners and decision-makers across NYC, • Represent a Fortune 500 brand in person, • Pitch products and services and close new business accounts, • Build real client relationships instead of sitting behind a screen all day, • Learn how to handle objections, negotiate, present, and sell, • Track your numbers and work toward weekly sales targets, • Take part in daily coaching and sales training How You Get Paid Training: $350/week for your first 2 weeks. After training: Earn the $800 weekly guarantee when performance requirements are met OR your commissions — whichever is higher. And there’s more upside: • Uncapped commissions — your earnings grow with your production, • Up to $1,000/week in performance bonuses, • Residual commissions — bring in quality accounts that stay active and continue earning from them, • Weekly direct deposit, • Top performers can earn $2,500+ per week In short: sell more, earn more. Where This Can Go You’re being hired into sales first. If you become great at that and want more responsibility, there’s a performance-based path into leadership and management, where you can learn recruiting, training, team development, operations, and campaign management. Typical progression: Junior Client Account Manager → Client Account Manager → Assistant Manager → Campaign Manager Promotions are based on results — not how long you’ve been around. You’ll Probably Like This If You’re… • Competitive and goal-driven, • Comfortable talking to new people, • Coachable and open to feedback, • Coming from hospitality, retail, sports, customer service, or another fast-paced environment, • Looking for something where your effort actually impacts your paycheck, • Interested in building sales and leadership skills you can take anywhere Student-athletes, team captains, hospitality professionals, and people used to performance-based environments tend to transition well. No prior sales experience required. Requirements • 18+, • High School Diploma or GED, • Authorized to work in the United States, • Able to reliably commute to Midtown Manhattan, • Available for full-time, in-person work Want In? Apply through this posting. If your background looks like a fit, our team will reach out to schedule a short initial interview. Work Location: In person — Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY Street Reach, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. ABOUT LIGHT SWITCH Light Switch is a neighborhood coffee and bar concept in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. We run as a specialty coffee counter during the day and transition into a warm, craft beer, wine-and-spritz social space in the evenings. Same team, same room, different energy. We are small, intentional, and care deeply about how people feel when they walk through our door — and when they leave. THE ROLE Lead Hosts are the backbone of Light Switch. You will anchor shifts across both sides of the day, dialing in espresso in the morning and running beverage service in the evening — while setting the standard for the team around you. You have worked with coffee as well as experienced in night time hospitality and comfortable making drinks, serving tables and running a busy evening floor. But beyond the craft, you are the kind of person who genuinely lights up when a guest walks in. You remember names. You make people feel welcome without being performative about it. You bring a positive energy to the shift that the whole team feels — and you hold that standard even when it is busy, even at the end of a long day. In Year 1, you will work closely with the owners and help shape what Light Switch feels like to work in and to visit. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Give every guest a genuine, warm welcome — and mean it every time, • Open or close the space and execute full setup and breakdown for coffee or evening service, • Dial in espresso, prepare filter and batch coffee, and maintain equipment to specialty standards, • Run evening beverage service: beer, wine, spritzes, and low-ABV offerings, • Train and support Hospitality Hosts on coffee standards, technique, and on-the-job skills, • Hold the floor during your shift — keeping pace, quality, and energy where they need to be, • Support food handoffs and light assembly during busy periods, • Keep the space clean, compliant, and welcoming from open to close WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR • A natural with people — warm, present, and genuinely happy to be there. Guests should feel it the moment they walk in, • The kind of person who brings positivity to a team without being told to — your energy sets the tone for the shift, • Trained barista with 2+ years of specialty coffee experience — you know how to dial in, and you can teach others to do the same, • Comfortable behind a bar: beer and wine knowledge, genuine hospitality instincts, • A natural at on-the-job coaching — patient, clear, and consistent with standards, • Calm under pressure and able to hold a shift without micromanaging, • Reliable, detail-oriented, and energized by helping build something from the ground up, • Available for some evening and weekend shifts, • NYC Food Handler Certification (or willing to obtain before start date)
