    Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook with pizza-making experience to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has experience preparing pizzas from scratch, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications. Stretch, shape, and top pizza dough with accuracy and consistency. Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times to ensure quality. Prepare and portion ingredients, sauces, cheeses, meats, and vegetables. Assist with preparing other menu items as needed during service. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of ingredient shortages. Properly store and rotate food items using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion. Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Line Cook, Pizza Maker, or similar kitchen role. Experience hand-stretching dough and preparing pizzas is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented with strong communication and time management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with wood-fired, deck, or conveyor pizza ovens. Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service hours. Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

    J.B. Woodcraft LLC is looking for a skilled and reliable Cabinet Finisher to join our custom millwork shop. We specialize in high end architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, retail fixtures, and residential projects throughout New York. We are looking for someone with finishing experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. We will pay for LIRR transportation for qualified candidates. Responsibilities • Sanding and preparing cabinets, doors, panels, and millwork for finish, • Applying stain, primer, paint, lacquer, polyurethane, and clear coats, • Mixing stains and color matching when needed, • Using spray equipment and maintaining spray guns properly, • Working with wood veneers, MDF, plywood, and hardwoods, • Touch ups, polishing, and final finish preparation, • Maintaining a clean and organized finishing area, • Following production schedules and quality standards Qualifications • Experience in cabinet finishing or woodworking finishing, • Knowledge of spray finishing techniques and materials, • Experience with ILVA products is a plus, • Ability to prep surfaces properly for high quality finishes, • Strong attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Reliable and punctual, • Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Experience • Custom cabinetry or architectural millwork finishing, • Mixing stains and adjusting colors/sheens, • Using HVLP or air assisted spray systems, • Working in a professional woodshop environment
