Job Description This position is primarily responsible for addressing resident service requests. Addition responsibilities: maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, including electrical and plumbing; repairing/replacing appliances; and maintaining grounds. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor for completion, • Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping., • Maintains the grounds by picking up trash., • Washes windows., • Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup., • Must possess basic knowledge of hand tools., • Paints interior and exterior walls and trim., • Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete., • Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks., • Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses., • Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete., • Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings., • Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower., • Assists other departments with moving furniture, appliances and unloading and storing supplies, • If part of on-call rotation, required to respond to all emergency calls onsite within 30 minutes of receiving call., • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
