Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Paid time off The New Jersey Childrens Alliance (NJCA) promotes hope, healing and justice for victims of child abuse throughout New Jersey by supporting Child Advocacy Centers with training, resources, advocacy, and leadership. The Training and Outreach Coordinator collaboratively contributes to NJCAs strategic goal of becoming the premier source of information on child abuse prevention and response in the state of New Jersey, as well as coordinating trainings to enhance the services provided to child abuse victims by multidisciplinary teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Statewide and Local Training Coordination (70%) Support the planning and execution of statewide and local training by identifying needs, securing presenters, managing logistics, and arranging facilities and technology. Create and manage training materials, including marketing content, online registration forms, presenter agreements, and evaluation tools. Maintain an up-to-date calendar of local, state, and national training opportunities relevant to NJCAs mission. Track training participation, compile satisfaction surveys, issue certificates, and contribute to data reporting. Provide technical support and training on Coalition Manager, NJCAs training platform. Represent NJCA at relevant local, statewide, and national conferences, meetings, and events. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Training and Statewide Initiatives Communications and Outreach (20%) Assist the Communications and Outreach Manager with creation of engaging print and digital content for public education and awareness through conducting research, gathering materials, and managing related logistics. Assist with website content, tracking social media analytics, and compiling reports for internal use. Assist with coordination and promotion of NJCA's presence at community events such as fairs, festivals, school programs, and media opportunities. Assist with planning and marketing of fundraising and awareness events, including vendor and sponsor communications. Represent NJCA and the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) model through community engagement and conference attendance. Contribute to the development of the annual report and other external communications Other responsibilities as assigned by the Communications and Outreach Manager Prevention Education Program (10%) Support the Communication & Outreach manager with the coordination and promotion of NJCAs prevention education programs, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and handling logistics Maintain a database of participants, manage evaluations and knowledge assessments, and assist with outcome reporting. Learn and facilitate NJCAs prevention education curriculum to adult audiences through in-person and virtual training sessions with support and supervision from the Communications and Outreach Manager. Support the overall success of NJCAs prevention education initiatives. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors degree in a social services-related field required., • 1-2 years experience in a social services or non-profit setting., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively., • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities., • Experience coordinating training and providing technical assistance to varied stakeholders., • Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to design visually appealing and informative graphic materials., • Experience developing content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva and Hootsuite a plus., • Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups, with the ability to communicate clearly and passionately about child abuse prevention and response., • Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong relationships with NJCA staff, member agencies, and community partners., • Knowledge ofor a demonstrated interest inchild abuse prevention, intervention, and response., • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
