Come join a global number one company - we offer an exciting role with outstanding career perspective as a Business Development Manager – Technical Sales Location: Remote (Spain) Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Sales Director About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a strong technical background in the photovoltaic industry. This role combines technical advisory responsibilities with commercial business development, acting as the bridge between customers and internal technical, product and sales teams. The ideal candidate has experience supporting EPCs, developers, distributors and investors throughout the project lifecycle while identifying new business opportunities and driving module sales. Key Responsibilities: • Business Development, • Develop and execute the commercial strategy within the assigned territory., • Identify and develop new customers including:, • Utility developers, • EPC contractors, • IPPs, • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation., • Build long-term relationships with key decision makers., • Prepare sales forecasts and market intelligence reports., • Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers throughout the sales process., • Provide technical support on:, • Module technologies, • Product selection, • BOS compatibility, • System design optimization, • Yield improvements, • Support bankability and due diligence discussions with investors and lenders., • Review project designs and recommend the most suitable module solutions., • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues., • Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers., • Work closely with Product Management, Marketing and Technical Support., • Provide customer feedback to influence product roadmap., • Support product launches., • Assist after-sales teams in resolving customer issues. Requirements: • Education Bachelor's Degree in: • Engineering, • Renewable Energy, • Electrical Engineering, • Environmental Engineering, • or related discipline., • Experience, • 5+ years of experience in the photovoltaic industry., • Previous experience in both:, • Technical Advisor / Application Engineer / Technical Sales, • Business Development / Sales Experience working with one or more of the following: • Module manufacturers, • EPC contractors, • Project developers, • Engineering consultancies, • Technical advisors, • Independent engineers, • Renewable energy consultancies Experience in: • Utility Scale PV, • Commercial & Industrial PV, • Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of: • PV module technologies, • TOPCon, • PERC, • BC technology, • IEC standards, • Module reliability, • Performance ratio, • LCOE, • Energy yield calculations, • Degradation mechanisms, • Bankability studies, • PVsyst (preferred) Knowledge of: • Grid connection, • Project financing, • PPAs, • Tender processes, • Utility-scale project development, • Commercial Skills, • Proven sales record., • Strong negotiation skills., • Excellent presentation abilities., • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences., • Customer-oriented mindset., • Strategic thinking., • Strong networking capabilities., • Fluent English (mandatory), • Spanish (mandatory), • Additional European languages are a plus.
