ppHead Electrician Our client, based in Alicante, specializes in building luxury yachts and is looking for an experienced Head Electrician to join their shipyard. As the Head Electrician you will supervise a team of 3 electricians and you will play a pivotal role in overseeing electrical systems and installations on serial‑production yachts. You'll combine technical expertise with leadership, helping your team deliver exceptional electrical installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. /p h3What you’ll do: /h3 ul liManage a team of electricians, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to schedules and safety protocols. /li liShort term and midterm planning. /li liCoordinate and execute electrical installations and maintenance on ships and marine structures. /li liConduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. /li liCollaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulations. /li liDevelop and maintain documentation, including work orders, reports, and maintenance logs. /li liTrain and mentor junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development. /li liStay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to marine electrical systems. /li liRespond to emergencies and provide troubleshooting support as needed. /li liMaintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement as necessary. /li liUphold a culture of safety, ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. /li /ul h3What we’re looking for: /h3 ul liProven experience as an electrician, preferably in a marine or shipyard environment. /li liStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team. /li liExtensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. /li liValid electrician’s license or certification. /li liPhysical stamina and agility to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights. /li liProficiency in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. /li liCommitment to safety and quality standards. /li liGood English communication skills. /li liIntermediate Spanish communication skills. /li liAdditional certifications or training in marine electrical systems are an advantage. /li liPrior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an advantage. /li liFamiliarity with marine‑specific electrical regulations and standards (e.g., ABS, SOLAS) is an advantage. /li /ul h3Employment package: /h3 pAnnual salary: €30,000 – €40,000 gross based on experience. /p h3Why you’ll enjoy this role: /h3 pWe build beautiful, luxury yachts, and we need a top‑tier Head Electrician to lead the charge.
