At SEGULA Technologies, we continue to grow and are looking to incorporate a Validation Engineer for automotive sector projects, working within the Vehicle Performance & Validation area in highly demanding technical environments. You will be responsible for validating key vehicle attributes such as dynamics, NVH, comfort, BS&R, water management, and durability, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer expectations. Main responsibilities: Validation and test execution • Definition, planning, and execution of vehicle-level validation plans., • Execution and supervision of tests on roads, proving grounds, and laboratory environments (climatic chambers, etc.)., • Use of data acquisition systems, sensors, and measurement tools., • Analysis of results and development of technical recommendations for engineering teams., • Definition of vehicle KPIs (ride comfort, acceleration, top speed, energy efficiency, etc.)., • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Vehicle planning and test preparation • Planning of vehicle needs and review of test requirements., • Management of vehicle availability and technical resources., • Management of ordering and configuration of pre-series vehicles., • Supervision of reception, preparation, transport, and status of test vehicles. Technical analysis and problem identification • Identification and analysis of NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) issues., • Analysis of BS&R (buzz, squeak & rattle) issues., • Evaluation of supplier-related issues. Testing, validation, and troubleshooting • NVH and BS&R diagnostics in laboratory and real-world conditions., • Execution of durability tests and validation of solutions., • Implementation and evaluation of design or assembly improvements., • Introduction and validation of new materials/components., • Documentation of issues, corrective actions, and results. Specialized testing • Testing under adverse conditions (rough roads, dedicated tracks, public roads)., • Testing under extreme weather conditions (winter/summer). Coordination, reporting, and documentation • Coordination with technical teams and quality departments., • Preparation of technical reports and validation documentation., • Continuous follow-up and reporting to the client. Logistics and issue tracking • Management of transportation of vehicles and components., • Issue tracking through ticketing systems (KPM)., • Coordination to ensure problem resolution and parts availability. Requisitos: • Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Automotive, or similar)., • Experience in vehicle validation, testing, or performance engineering., • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, NVH, BS&R, and systems/components validation., • Experience in real-world testing and data analysis., • Analytical, proactive profile with a problem-solving mindset., • Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple tests simultaneously., • Advanced level of English (minimum B2)., • Valid driving license (Category B). Nice to have: • Experience in OEM environments (automotive)., • Experience in extreme condition testing (cold/hot climates)., • Knowledge of data acquisition systems and measurement tools., • Experience in supplier management., • Knowledge of issue tracking tools (KPM or similar)., • Intermediate to advanced level of German.
