Who We Are At Balance (findbalance.app), were building the clinical operating system for obesity treatment combining medical rigor, AI capabilities, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver personalized treatment at scale. In Spain alone, 200,000 people on GLP-1 medications today will grow to 1.2 million by 2030, most without access to proper clinical support. Were fixing that. Weve proven our approach works and we have just closed our Seed Series funding. Join us if youre obsessed with outcomes and ready to help thousands of patients actually see results and feel better. About the role Were looking for a product manager who owns the problem, not just the backlog. Youll lead product strategy and execution end-to-end, building strong partnerships with engineering, design, data, marketing, and clinical teams, turning a messy space of patient needs, clinical constraints, and business goals into a clear, prioritized roadmap that ships. You must be someone who can do (run the product process with full autonomy) and think (set direction and make hard tradeoffs). Someone who understands that product in healthcare isnt just shipping features — its adherence, trust, and behavior change, where the users health is on the line. What you will do As a product owner: • Lead product strategy and execution for your area, from problem discovery through delivery and iteration, • Prioritize the problems worth solving and make the tradeoffs to drop the ones that arent based on user and business impact, • Define what success looks like before you build it: set the metrics, instrument them, and hold the team to them As a cross-functional leader: • Work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, data, marketing, and clinical teams to build and improve products, • Be the connective tissue across mixed profiles, aligning teams on priorities and the reasoning behind them, • Communicate plans, progress, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership As a data-informed decision-maker: • Use product analytics and clinical signals to decide, not just to justify, • Know when the data is enough, and when to ship, learn, and iterate, • Present evidence and recommendations in a way that drives decisions As a patients advocate: • Keep patient outcomes at the center of every prioritization call, • Partner with the clinical team so product decisions respect safety and clinical rigor, • Balance what drives the business with whats genuinely good for the patient What were looking for Must-haves: • 3–5 years of product management experience, with a track record of owning products end-to-end (discovery → launch → iteration), • Demonstrated ability to make data-informed decisions and define success metrics, • Strong stakeholder communication: a track record of presenting to and aligning leadership, • Real familiarity with AI-assisted workflows: using frontier tools to augment discovery and delivery and raise the bar for how the broader team works with AI, • Professional-level English: we read, write, and debate in it daily Nice-to-haves: • Startup or healthcare experience: youve operated where things are ambiguous and move fast, or in a regulated/clinical context (ideally both), • Experience across two-sided marketplaces and B2B2C models, • Experience in service design or complex multi-actor systems What we offer • Competitive salary based on experience, • Work hybridly from our Madrid offices or remotely from anywhere in Spain, • Impact since day one: the work you do here shapes the experience of thousands of patients, • Solve a real problem with real consequences: obesity is the most underestimated epidemic of our time, • Genuine autonomy and ownership: no layers of product bureaucracy, • A team that believes product is a clinical and competitive advantage, not a feature factory, • Opportunity to adopt frontier AI on internal workflows and patient-facing features
