The company has established a Digital & Data Hub in Barcelona to support international, insight-driven initiatives across marketing, medical affairs, and customer intelligence. We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to bring strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS, and data visualization within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain analytical tables in Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance., • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve query efficiency., • Implement robust data models aligned with business and reporting needs., • Manage and deploy solutions across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring stability and accuracy., • Perform data validation and testing to guarantee data integrity., • Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.) to support data storage, processing, and analytics., • Develop and manage ETL processes within the cloud environment., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts, data scientists, business stakeholders) to deliver data solutions., • Manage tasks, issues, and workflows using Jira., • Maintain version control and code repositories using GitHub / Bitbucket., • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau., • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights., • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to business teams., • Document data models, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability., • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards are met. Required Qualifications • Previous experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related roles., • Strong experience with Snowflake, including schema design, SQL development, and performance optimization., • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL processes and tools., • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices., • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)., • Experience working with Jira for project and issue management., • Proficiency with GitHub or Bitbucket for version control., • Advanced skills in Tableau for data visualization and reporting., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments., • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Desired Skills • Experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI or Looker., • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation or automation., • Relevant certifications in Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, or similar technologies., • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across international teams.
