Operations & Maintenance Engineer (EV Charging Infrastructure) Salary €50,000 -€62,000 base + Package Location: Southern France - Aix-en-provence Travel: Occasional travel across Europe About the Role We are looking for an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to drive operational excellence across the electric vehicle charging network in Europe. Reporting to the Head of O&M, you will play a key role in both structuring processes and tools and supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement across our infrastructure. Key performance targets: • 99% station availability, • 99% successful charging sessions Key Responsibilities • Lead the deployment of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage asset lifecycle and maintenance activities, • Optimise operational tools (ticketing systems, data analytics, call handling, logistics, spare parts management), • Define and improve cross-functional processes (customer onboarding, diagnostics, inventory management), • Build and maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge bases Quality & Continuous Improvement • Manage the lifecycle of returned equipment (RMA), from receipt to reintegration or disposal, • Drive continuous improvement by resolving non-conformities with internal stakeholders Operations & Support • Ensure proper commissioning and integration of stations into monitoring systems, • Participate in field operations, including monitoring and retrofit campaigns (hardware/software), • Provide second-level technical support to clients and maintenance partners, • Organise and deliver training for internal teams and external partners About You • Engineering degree (or equivalent technical Master’s degree), • 2–3+ years of experience in EV charging infrastructure or a related field, • Experience in operations, supervision, or maintenance environments, • Strong background in process and quality improvement (industrial, IoT, or energy sectors preferred) Skills • Proficiency with digital tools (CMMS, CRM/ticketing systems, data analysis tools), • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage external partners, • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
