Haylaz Brasserie is looking for an experienced and reliable Brasserie Chef to join our kitchen team.


We are an independent neighbourhood brasserie focused on well-executed, high-quality food, not gimmicks. Our menu is seasonal, produce-led, and built around classic techniques with strong attention to detail.



The role



Preparing and cooking brasserie-style dishes to a high standard
Working with fresh ingredients (meat, seafood, vegetables)
Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
Supporting menu development and daily prep
Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are met
Working closely with the head chef and front-of-house team


What we’re looking for



Previous experience in a brasserie, gastro pub, or quality restaurant
Solid cooking skills and good kitchen discipline
Confidence with meat and seafood
Calm, organised, and reliable under service pressure
Passion for good food rather than trends
Legal right to work in the UK
