We’ve offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join us as a Business Development Executive. We’re looking for someone to drive the business growth within the company, develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality or catering industry, with a wide range of transferable skills and experience. We’re looking for a confident and charismatic individual to enhance our team and to build credibility and relationships with both existing and new customers.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, partnerships and/or new products and services.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Building relationships with other team members, new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
  • Extensive production knowledge to support advice/guidance for customers based on their requirements
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.

Experience/Skills Required
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and self motivate
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An effective communicator
  • Commercial awareness and market research experience
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements
  • Effective use of Microsoft suite i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • An established network within the hospitality/catering industry

The role is being offered on a full time basis Monday – Friday during office working hours.* As an inclusive organisation who supports working families, start times may be flexible depending on individual need.
*there may occasionally be the opportunity to attend networking events that fall outside of office working hours.
This position will be hybrid (Liverpool city centre office and field based)
