The role will aim to provide Production Engineering support for the final assembly and testing of remotely operated vehicles and systems, with a focus on clear, standardised process documentation. In addition, ensure appropriate production processes, equipment, and facilities are in place to safely and consistently manufacture products to meet cost, time, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct an analysis of current SOPs in the integration department to identify gaps, outdated procedures and areas for improvement. * Standardise process and procedures across the department to ensure consistency, reduce variation, and enhance cross-departmental collaboration. * Own, document and train others on manufacturing process and standards. * Attend SQCDP meetings and support a hands-on problem solving approach with Area Team Leader and Quality Engineering to achieve OTD and right first time objectives. * Assess compliance and adhere to safety/quality standards. * Providing technical support for production and production control. * Developing, optimising and implementing factory floor layouts/production cells. * Analyse data to drive continuous improvement of processes and workflows. Skills and Experience: * Multi-disciplined senior engineer with an electrical bias and experience in test, pre-commissioning, and fault finding. * Background in low-volume, one-off engineered products and systems; ideal for Production, Project, or Delivery Engineers. * Strong mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering knowledge, especially for complex assemblies like ROVs. * Troubleshooting: Technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve production issues. * Minimum qualifications HNC/HND, Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. * Hands-on production support experience in assembly, testing, and quality control. * Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt) are a plus; familiarity with hydraulics is also beneficial. The Production Quality Engineer role requires experience in quality management within regulated industries, preferably defence or aerospace. Supplier Quality Requirements: * Experience qualifying, auditing, and monitoring suppliers and subcontractors. * Ability to conduct supplier audits, including process audits and quality system assessments. * Experience managing supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and driving timely, effective resolution. * Knowledge of supplier risk management, including critical supplier identification and performance metrics. * Experience reviewing and approving supplier documentation such as inspection reports, material certifications, FAIRs, and CoCs. * Ability to work with suppliers to improve process capability, yield, and compliance. * Familiarity with flow-down of defence and customer quality requirements to suppliers. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: * Understanding of defence industry regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and customer-specific requirements. * Experience ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and customer quality requirements. * Ability to support customer audits, source inspections, and government quality representatives as required. Qualifications and Skills: * Bachelor's degree/HND in Engineering (Preferable) in a Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in Product Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Quality within a regulated industry (preferably defence, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or similar). * Experience working in a defence or aerospace environment with controlled products and strict compliance requirements preferred. * Experience with Quality tools and software (e.g., SPC, MSA, PFMEA, control plans). * Experience in ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality management systems (eQMS). * Strong data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams. * Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. * Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required. In this role you will take responsibility for the full-lifecycle design and development of bespoke power conversion and transmission solutions in line with the company's business needs through innovation, creativity and professionalism. As Lead Engineer you will act as Technical Authority for concurrent power projects: from in-house designs to outsourced specification and management. Key Responsibilities: The role seeks an engineer with excellent knowledge of power architectures, transmission, conversion and distribution, whilst having an appreciation for the real-world subtleties involved in creating robust and reliable power systems. You may be working on anything from large-scale power conversion products, efficient cabled transmission designs all the way through to motor drives and low voltage converters. Our voltages range from 24V to 5000V with powers from 500W to 250kW. You will be responsible for the successful design, implementation and delivery into our products. The Stores Team Leader is responsible for providing effective direction and supervision to all stores and packing team members to ensure that delivery deadlines and master schedules are met. This role is also accountable for ensuring stock accuracy and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.
