As a Interim Financial Accounting Manager (18 months duration), you’ll be at the heart of a leading PE Backed services organisation, steering group accounting and regulatory reporting. This is your chance to take ownership of complex financial management, shape robust processes, and make a real impact—while enjoying hybrid working and a supportive environment.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for: • Leading the preparation of annual financial statements for multiple group entities under UK GAAP (FRS 102), managing the full audit process and acting as the main contact for external auditors, • Supporting month-end reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate close processes, • Managing cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital requirements across the group, providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders and proactively flagging risks, • Overseeing regulatory submissions, • Preparing monthly accounts for holding and financing companies, analysing financing arrangements, and arranging loan interest paymentsWhat you will need:, • To be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA via practice most likely) ideally with a strong academic record, • 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role as a Senior Group Accountant, Financial Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, or potentially Financial Controller, • Proven track record in preparing or managing statutory accounts and group consolidations, • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and the ability to research and apply technical standards independently, • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical, organised approachDesirable, • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central), • Exposure to accounting for LLP, or Private Equity backed businesses, • Have worked in a growing organisation where has integrated and accounted for newly acquired entities, • Previous experience of working within a regulatory environmentWhat you will get:, • Hybrid working – typically 3 days in the office, although may be flexible to 2 days, • Free Parking, • Opportunity to join a growing business where longer-term career prospects could developIf you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
