Group Reporting Manager Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience) Location: Can be based in Birmingham, Northampton, or Oxford Reports to: Group Financial Controller / CFO Contract: Full-time, permanent The Company Our client is a rapidly expanding international group within the technical services and compliance sector, backed by a leading institutional investor. The Role The Group Reporting Manager will take ownership of consolidated financial reporting and play a key role in developing the group’s financial reporting framework and control environment. Working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller, the role will lead on monthly consolidation, enhance financial processes, and support system and integration initiatives across the group. This position is ideal for a technically strong accountant with multi-entity experience who enjoys building scalable reporting structures in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly consolidated group reports., • Ensure high-quality, consistent reporting across multiple international entities., • Partner with subsidiary finance teams to review submissions, improve controls, and strengthen financial governance., • Drive improvements in group consolidation, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency., • Develop and enhance group management reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards., • Support finance system upgrades, data integration, and automation projects., • Collaborate on acquisition accounting, due diligence, and integration of new entities., • Manage aspects of the annual audit, budgeting, and forecasting cycles., • Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Candidate Profile Essential: • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)., • Strong technical accounting background with experience in group consolidation and reporting., • Excellent understanding of financial controls and reporting standards., • Confident communicator, capable of working with senior stakeholders and international teams., • Proactive, analytical, and able to operate independently in a remote environment., • Comfortable in a fast-changing, high-growth business. Desirable: • Experience within technical services, inspection, engineering, or industrial sectors., • Exposure to private equity or buy-and-build environments., • Involvement in system implementations or finance transformation projects.
