The role: Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you’ll take full ownership of our Wednesbury site — driving operational excellence across Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehousing, and Facilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our culture, inspiring teams, and delivering results that move the business forward. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and embed a world-class Health, Safety & Environmental culture., • Drive operational performance across production, distribution, and warehousing to meet and exceed KPIs., • Provide strong, supportive leadership through coaching, developing, and motivating your team., • Oversee daily site operations with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement., • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective communication and alignment across departments., • Support the strategic planning and execution of business growth initiatives., • Manage recruitment, performance, and professional development across the site team., • Monitor and report on site performance and progress against key metrics., • Ensure full compliance with GMP, ISO, and all relevant regulatory or best practice frameworks., • Take ownership of site resources, driving capital projects and cost control initiatives. About You: • A proven operational leader, ideally with experience in food manufacturing or production environments., • Experienced in working with modern ERP systems and confident using technology to drive efficiency., • A change leader — proactive, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement., • Skilled at developing teams and first-line managers to achieve their full potential., • Ambitious and forward-thinking, with the capability to progress into more senior roles within the business., • An excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence and inspire at all levels.
