Key Responsibilities • Follow detailed work instructions relating to paint finishing and polishing., • Complete all station tasks to the required quality standards and within set timescales., • Carry out exterior polishing using the correct materials, tools, and methods., • Inspect completed vehicles to ensure a flawless finish with zero defects., • Perform flattening, polishing, and touch-up operations as required., • Support problem-solving activities relating to quality, cost, or productivity., • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives., • Ensure correct disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials., • Maintain a clean, organised working environment and take care of tools and equipment. Knowledge, Skills & Experience • Experience within an automotive or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage., • Strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality., • Able to follow established processes and work to defined timescales., • Confident using polishing tools, materials, and associated equipment., • Experience inspecting finished surfaces and identifying any defects., • Familiarity with flattening, polishing, and touch-up processes., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, modern OEM environment., • Experience maintaining and cleaning equipment is beneficial.
