Senior Financial Accountant Location: Sheffield (2 days per week on site) Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + excellent benefits Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Yorkshire Talent Partners are proud to be supporting a prestigious, values-led organisation with diverse interests across hospitality, property, and estates in the search for a talented Senior Financial Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking and detail-driven qualified Senior Financial accountant to join an experienced Group Finance team at a time of positive growth and evolution. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key part in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement across multiple business entities. You’ll also work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting., • Managing tax processes and liaising with external advisors., • Supporting cash management, forecasting, and group cash flow analysis., • Leading the production of year-end statutory accounts and ensuring full compliance., • Maintaining and developing finance policies, procedures, and internal audit frameworks., • Supporting investment-related activities., • Managing and enhancing finance systems to improve accuracy and accessibility., • Driving simplification and automation across financial processes., • Deputising for the Financial Controller when required, ensuring continuity in reporting and leadership. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working — with a minimum of two days per week on site. About You We’re looking for a qualified finance professional who thrives in a varied, multi-entity environment and enjoys making a tangible impact. You’ll bring: • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification, with strong post-qualification experience., • A solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes., • Excellent Excel and IT skills., • Strong organisational and time management ability., • A proactive, adaptable approach and the confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively., • A genuine alignment with values such as integrity, responsibility, and respect.
