    As a Commis Chef in our Japanese restaurant, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Japanese dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team, learning various cooking techniques and contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, chopping, and marinating., • Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency. Cooking: • Cook meals under the supervision of senior chefs, including sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes., • Maintain high levels of food hygiene and safety standards. Kitchen Maintenance: • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized., • Ensure all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. Team Collaboration: • Work as part of a team to achieve high standards of food service., • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential., • A passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn., • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure., • Good communication and teamwork skills.
