Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Infrastructure are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth, Devon and we are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our team. Due to the site being a high-security military Naval base, additional security checks will need to be made BPSS level of security clearance is required. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been in the UK for the last 5 years can be considered for this role. Your mission To develop, manage, and implement processes for the detection and protection of all services. To ensure these works are undertaken so as to prevent any possible delay to the main construction programme. Management of all buried service information and be the main point of contact for the Surveys portal, managing the tiles and ensuring the latest data is updated, and liaising with the designers to have the model updated. Establish & implement process for updating the services model data to KBJV standards, processes, and procedures Agree & put in place a process for regular transfer of updated services model to BIM teams, including agreement on format, metadata etc. Discuss and agree with CAT Surveys provision of information to meet data management, design & construction requirements, including format & labelling of data. Act as a central liaison with service providers for site or transient location issues. Manage the early contractor involvement. Authorise the permit to break ground, ensuring all relevant information and controls are documented, and maintain records of permits issued To ensure that all service positions are physically marked out. Review SU record drawings against the PAS128A data and ensure permit accuracy To ensure all staff are briefed and aware of services and the potential hazards they present. Be the point of contact for service locators on site. Liase with them to ensure service drawings are accurate To contribute to the development of Permits to Break Surface, Activity Plans and RAMS To ensure that there is an accurate understanding of all service information at all stages of construction. To coordinate with permanent and TW, civils and M&E Designers, sub-contractors, CRE, TOC, Utility suppliers, M&E Manager and the civils delivery team. Who are we looking for? Level 5 NVQ in Utility Mapping and Surveying Be able to demonstrate extensive experience with all types of underground, above ground and building services. Proficient in managing staff teams as well as the processes. Competent in the use of CAD, Office and Project CDEs Proficient in PAS128, HSG-47 and GS-6 Experience with geophysical location techniques such as CAT4, RD, VIVAX and GPR CSCS is mandatory QCF Level 3 or Level 5 certification in utility mapping is preferred. Desirable: Bachelor's in a relevant degree Experience in a similar position in a large project SMSTS/SSTS and First Aid desirable Whats in it for you?
