Elevation is supporting a national charity based in Pontefract to help mentor and support their team of Social Workers and Assistants. We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Advanced Social Worker - Manager, to lead our clients welfare services. Based in Pontefract, you’ll guide a small, dedicated team providing practical advice, emotional support, and life-enhancing interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading others, driving service quality, and working directly with people to make a lasting impact. What You’ll Do • Lead and support a team delivering person-centred social work services, • Oversee casework, ensuring clients receive high-quality, tailored support, • Act as the regional safeguarding lead, • Build partnerships with local organisations to strengthen community support What You’ll Bring • Qualified and registered Social Worker (degree or equivalent), • Experience managing or mentoring within a social care setting, • Knowledge of welfare benefits, safeguarding, and older people/disability services, • Excellent communication, empathy, and leadership skills, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Why would you apply: You’ll be part of a caring organisation that truly values people — both the communities we support and the colleagues who make it happen.
