Connect Appointments are seeking a skilled Cook/Chef to join our client's Larbert team and contribute to the success of their catering department, providing high-volume catering services. What's on offer? • 5 days over 7, hours between 6am to 6:30pm - but flexibility for earlier starts is required Your responsibilities as a Cook/Chef will include, but not limited to: • Organise chill and freezer storage while maintaining cleanliness, • Use all equipment safely and correctly, • Maintain hygiene standards in all food preparation, production, and holding areas; complying with food hygiene regulations and HACCP policy, • Monitor and record temperatures of chillers, freezers, food, and holding areas, • Develop and introduce new lines as appropriate, • Customer care/service skills, • Experience in high volume catering services, • Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, • Manual handling skills, • COSHH knowledge, • HACCP knowledge CAGRA
