WRc is looking for a Principal Consultant who is passionate about developing digital and data driven solutions to challenging environmental and engineering issues. This is a full-time (37 hours) hybrid role, based at our office in Hattersley, Manchester. The successful candidate will support the Technical Director and wider team across a programme of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring that a team of creative modellers, software and data engineers deliver high-quality outputs, products and technical insights. You'll be an integral part a supportive community of digital professionals who work across a wide range of projects-both client-facing and internal. A key part of your role will be to help foster a confident, inclusive team environment where innovation is encouraged and high-quality work is consistently delivered., • Manage and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they meet client needs, regulatory requirements and industry standards., • Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with projects., • Develop and manage project budgets and resources efficiently. Develop comprehensive product roadmaps in line with WRc's strategic goals., • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, constraints and objectives., • Provide clients with strategic recommendations based on technical analyses and assessments., • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and delivery of high-quality services., • Foster an innovative environment to drive the development of industry-leading SaaS products., • Define key performance metrics and monitor product performance post-launch to inform future product development strategies., • Provide mentorship and leadership to the product development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement., • Proven experience in water-related projects., • Certifications and licences such as Professional Engineer (PE) may be required or preferred., • Advanced knowledge of water treatment processes, water quality, hydraulic modelling and related technologies., • Ability to develop solutions for complex water-related problems, such as water scarcity, contamination and infrastructure degradation., • Propose and implement innovative solutions and technologies for improving water management and treatment., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Proficiency in the use of water modelling and analysis software., • £65,000 - £70,000 depending on experience, • Life assurance, • A flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays, health cash plan and discounted gym membership, • Contributary pension scheme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
