Multi Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £47,000 DOE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management and building services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and minor installation works. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring building services are maintained to the highest standards, delivering a professional service while maintaining compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems., • Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant equipment., • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime., • Complete minor installation and replacement works as required., • Undertake basic plumbing and mechanical maintenance duties where required., • Carry out inspections and ensure all work complies with current legislation and industry standards., • Complete all required documentation accurately using electronic or paper-based systems., • Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and colleagues to provide excellent customer service., • Participate in an on-call rota where required., • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.About You: The ideal candidate will have:, • Previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer within facilities management, building services or a similar environment., • Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent)., • Experience servicing and maintaining commercial boilers and heating systems., • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills., • Basic plumbing and mechanical maintenance experience., • A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively., • A full UK driving licence.Desirable, • LPG qualifications., • Domestic Gas qualifications., • F-Gas certification., • 18th Edition., • Electrical knowledge or additional building services experience., • Experience working within schools, healthcare, retail or commercial buildings.What's on Offer:, • Competitive salary up to £47,000, • Company vehicle and fuel card., • Overtime opportunities., • Company pension., • Holiday allowance plus bank holidays., • Training and ongoing professional development., • Career progression opportunities., • Company uniform, tools and PPE provided., • Employee benefits package.
