Job Title: Corporate Finance Consultant Location: Staines (Hybrid) Overview Our client - a high-growth real estate group are currently undertaking a complex c. £250 million refinancing process across 14 assets - is seeking an exceptional Corporate Finance Consultant to support the CFO and senior leadership team. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the CEO, especially during management meetings. This is a pivotal role supporting the finance team during a period of strategic restructuring and financial transformation. Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling: * Develop, enhance, and stress-test robust financial models (3-statement and bespoke transaction models) to support debt structuring, sensitivity and covenant analysis. * Take existing forecasting P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow model and run detailed sensitivity analyses. * Overlay financial covenants analysis on the base case and sensitivity cases. Debt and Transaction Support: * Analyse prospective lender term sheets and prepare comparator analyses and reviews using our base case and sensitivity forecasts. * Prepare Q&A responses for lenders and other key stakeholders. * Assist the CFO with tax analysis for the refinance, liaising with tax advisors. * Support the CFO with Balance Sheet progressions required at completion and reviewing facility agreements, preparing review memos. Strategic Presentations: * Develop high-impact board and investor presentations that clearly articulate refinancing strategy, financial impacts and risks. * Lead on production and design of professional slide decks using Porthaven's brand guidelines. Governance & Controls: * Support governance processes, oversight of policies and controls and maintain regulatory compliance. Stakeholder Engagement: * Liaise with banks, legal advisors, tax advisors and internal teams, ensuring transparent and seamless information flow. BAU Support: * Although this will be a 90% project role, support monthly board and investor reporting as required. Ad Hoc CFO Support: * Provide hands-on support to the CFO on strategic financial matters and key project milestones. Ideal Candidate Profile Qualifications: ACA qualified (Big 4 or Top 20 practice essential). Experience: * 5-8 years post-qualification in corporate finance, transaction services, debt advisory, or a similar role. * Proven track record supporting refinancing, M&A or complex funding transactions. Skills: * Expert financial modelling (3-statement, sensitivities, covenants). * Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce polished and compelling decks. * Strong governance mindset with exposure to regulated financial environments. Attributes: * Commercially astute, detail-oriented and calm under pressure. * Curious, resourceful and proactive - able to hit the ground running. * Strong communication skills to manage executive-level relationships.
