Installation Engineer – Nationwide\nUK Manufactured, Intelligent Parking Solutions Company!\nIdeally based: Coventry or Northampton\nPermanent | £37,000-£40,000 | 40 hours per week | Solo Install Bonus Scheme!\nBenefits: Company Van & Fuel Card, 20 Days Holiday (+BH), Pension, Healthcare, & Full Product Training\n \nThe Opportunity\nWe’re supporting a market leader in intelligent parking solutions as they grow their Installation Engineer team!\n \nThe company have their own bespoke parking systems; designed, built, and manufactured in the UK!\nSystems you’ll be installing: Ticket Kiosks, Barrier Systems, and the latest Ai ANPR/CCTV Camera technology!\n \nFull product training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong networking and hardware skills who wants to take ownership of full system builds, commissioning, and customer handover in a specialist, future‑focused industry.\n \nThe Role\nAs an Installation Engineer, you will:\n\nInstall, commission, and configure parking and access control systems\nLead installation and upgrade projects across customer sites\nCarry out system setup, hardware mounting, and equipment configuration\nConfigure system software, update firmware, and complete system commissioning\nConduct full system testing, validation, and customer demonstrations\nWork independently, managing your own installation schedule across the Midlands\nDeliver a professional, customer‑focused service at all times \nExperience Required for Installation Engineer\nYou must have experience in an installation, commissioning, or project‑based engineering role, ideally involving one or more of the following:\n\nAccess control or security systems (preferred)\nCCTV / ANPR cameras (preferred)\nTicket kiosks / machines (preferred)\nNetworking / Wi‑Fi equipment (preferred)\nIntercom systems\nEPOS equipment\nSoftware‑driven or PC‑based hardware systems \nInstallation Engineer Skills & Competencies\n\nStrong networking configuration and fault‑finding ability\nConfident working with hardware, cabling, and system components\nAbility to commission software‑driven systems and configure system settings\nComfortable using diagnostic tools, remote support software, and system interfaces\nAble to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation \nExcellent communication skills and a customer‑first approach\nComfortable travelling and working independently \nESSENTIAL Requirements\n\nFull UK Driving Licence – essential\nStrong networking and smart device experience\nBased local to Coventry or Northampton\nAble to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation \nExperience installing or commissioning hardware‑based systems\nRight to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)\nStrong written and verbal English \nDESIRABLE Requirements\n\nRecognised qualification in electrical engineering (ECS card / 18th edition / PAT testing etc.)\nRecognised qualification in network engineering (CompTIA, Cisco, HND in Computing etc.) \nIf you are interested in the Installation Engineer role or have any questions, please apply with your latest CV and I will give you a call to discuss the next step of your application and answer your questions.
