Skills & Experience • Experience in mechanical labouring or any related trade (fabrication, pipe fitting, welding, mechanical fitting)., • Relevant trade certificates or training are an advantage., • 3–5 years’ experience in industrial or commercial environments preferred., • Ability to read technical drawings., • Strong practical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills., • Relevant mechanical or trade-related certificates., • Welding qualifications (coded preferred)., • Valid driver’s licence., • Forklift licence (advantageous)., • First-aid certification (preferred)., • Experience across multiple disciplines (mechanical, welding, pipework, fabrication) is beneficial., • Good communication and teamwork abilities., • Able to work independently when required., • Strong focus on safety and quality. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry materials for extended periods., • Capable of working in confined spaces when needed., • Safe operation of power tools and equipment., • Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions., • Use of required PPE at all times. Work Environment • Industrial and manufacturing settings., • Exposure to noise, heat, and varying weather conditions., • May involve shift work, overtime, and periods working away from home., • Strict safety protocols must be followed at all times., • Travel to different job sites may be required.
