Sales Director Location: Wakefield Reporting to: CEO Are you a commercially driven sales leader ready to shape strategy, drive growth, and lead a national sales function? We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Sales Director to play a pivotal role in scaling a growing UK business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s sales strategy, strengthening key client relationships, and leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) across the UK. This is an opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives on building momentum, inspiring teams, and delivering measurable commercial success. As Sales Director, you will: Lead Sales Strategy & Growth • Develop and execute the national sales strategy, • Identify new markets, growth opportunities, and revenue streams, • Deliver against ambitious growth targets, • Establish KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks, • Build and strengthen relationships with strategic clients, • Lead high-value negotiations and commercial agreements, • Inspire, coach, and develop a team of BDMs across the UK, • Build a high-performance sales culture, • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, • Provide strategic commercial recommendations What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a confident and credible sales leader with: • Proven success in a senior sales leadership role, • You must have experience selling products/ services into the construction industry, • A strong track record of driving revenue growth, • Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams, • Expertise in key account management and negotiation, • A strategic, data-driven, and commercially astute mindset You’ll be someone who: • Leads with energy, clarity, and influence, • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, • Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, • Builds strong relationships internally and externally
