Andrew Jay's School of Music currently require engaging, skilled and experienced Music teachers to join our teaching team of peripatetic tuition across our local community. we are recruiting Face to Face teachers in: • Singing, • Drum Kit, • Guitar, • Piano Candidates must be located within Warlingham or the immediate surrounding area in order to be accessible to our students and meet the current demand. We would like to hear from teachers from a range of musical disciplines and genres including: • Jazz, • Popular Music, • Musical Theatre, • Rock, • Classical Candidates with previous teaching experience and who possess the personality, skill, and ability to engage with people of all ages and abilities in fun, engaging and excellent lessons will be successful. Andrew Jay’s School of Music does not currently operate from our own premises so any successful candidates would need to have an appropriate location from which they can teach. All successful candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS Check. Be advised that you may be asked to renew your DBS before engaging in any work on behalf of Andrew Jay’s School of Music. Candidates must be flexible in the hours they are available to teach, including being available to teach in the evenings, at the weekend, primarily on Saturdays. Qualifications • Proven management or leadership experience within an early childhood education setting., • Extensive working knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and nursery regulations., • Experience working directly with children in a childcare or preschool environment., • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written., • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 Childcare qualification or higher)., • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment for children., • Passionate about child development with a caring approach towards young learners. This role is integral to fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally under expert supervision. Term time only. 22 hours a week. Pre-School is open 9.30am - 2.30pm. Work hours 9.00am - 3.00pm or 9.00am - 1.00pm
