What you’ll do • Develop and implement quality control procedures, methodologies, and standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards and regulations., • Conduct inspections and audits to assess product quality and identify non-conformities, defects, or deviations from specifications., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, Production, and procurement, to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions., • Perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions to address quality concerns and improve overall product quality., • Establish and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and quality records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained., • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications., • Monitor and analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement., • Participate in design reviews and provide input to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and quality., • Support customer inquiries and complaints related to quality, investigating issues and providing timely and effective resolutions., • Train and mentor employees on quality control procedures and best practices., • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to quality control and incorporate them into the company's quality management system. columns. What you’ll need • Bachelor’s degree in electronic or mechanical engineering or a related field, • Proven experience working as a Quality Control Engineer or in a similar role., • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, UK and MOD standards, and regulations., • Experience with quality tools and techniques such as statistical process control (SPC),root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)., • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems., • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail., • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate quality-related information effectively at all levels of the business., • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records., • IT literate and proficient with MS Office.
