Role: Digital & Hardware Electronics Design Lead – MPSoC & AI Hardware\n\nLocation: Manchester (3–4 days on-site; hybrid possible)\nSalary: Up to £65,000 + bonus\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Digital & Hardware Electronics Design Lead to design and develop high-speed MPSoC FPGA and AI hardware solutions. As a Digital & Hardware Electronics Design Lead, you will work on SDR, radar signal processing, and sensor fusion applications, taking designs from concept through full product development.\n\nThis is a long-term opportunity to establish your career as a technical lead and electronics expert within a world-class multi-disciplinary team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Lead high-speed digital electronics design as a Digital & Hardware Electronics Design Lead\n\n * \n\n Develop MPSoC FPGA, DDR/Flash memory, and high-speed serial interconnect solutions\n\n * \n\n Conduct signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis\n\n * \n\n Support board-level test and debug using VHDL and C/C++/Python\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with systems, software, firmware, mechanical, and production teams to develop optimized hardware architectures\n\n * \n\n Document designs and ensure high standards of technical communication\n\n * \n\n Mentor and guide other electronics engineers within the team\n\nExperience & Skills Required\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in high-speed digital electronics design\n\n * \n\n Expertise in MPSoC FPGA, DDR/Flash memory, high-speed interconnect, SI and PI analysis\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in VHDL and C/C++/Python for test and debugging\n\n * \n\n Understanding of DSP concepts for SDR, radar, and optical sensor applications\n\n * \n\n Strong academic background in electronics or related STEM discipline\n\n * \n\n Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and drive technical solutions\n\nBenefits\n\n * \n\n Competitive bonus\n\n * \n\n Competitive pension\n\n * \n\n Flexible working arrangements\n\n * \n\n Enhanced parental leave and healthcare benefits\n\n * \n\n On-site facilities including subsidised meals, gym, and café
