Technical Trainer - Automation Controls Leicester £55-60k doe + great benefits • Are you confident delivering technical training and presenting complex concepts to engineers and technicians?, • Do you have hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA and HMI systems within an industrial automation environment?, • Do you have a solid understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus or Profinet? You’ll design and deliver practical, hands-on training programmes for engineers and technicians, helping to build capability across automation technologies and ensure high standards of system understanding and performance. Key Responsibilities • Deliver training on PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and control systems, • Develop training materials including manuals, presentations and practical exercises, • Conduct classroom and workshop-based training sessions, • Train on industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet), • Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback, • Work with project teams to align training with business and client requirements, • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness, • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or similar, • Strong experience with industrial automation systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), • Solid understanding of control systems, instrumentation and industrial networks, • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills Interested?
