Head of Estates and Compliance Permanent Berkshire- with travel between 5 sites £70,000 + great benefits Hybrid working- 3 Days onsite Signet are currently supporting a wonderful, values driven organisation based in North Berkshire, who are seeking a Head of Estates and Compliance to join their team on a permanent basis, and this person will be Head of the team, reporting into a Director supporting a portfolio of 5 locations. This senior leadership role is responsible for estates management, statutory compliance, health & safety, sustainability reporting, and fleet management. The postholder will ensure consistent standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all sites. Key elements of the role: • Provide strategic oversight of estates operations across multiple sites, • Lead and manage the Estates team, • Ensure delivery of maintenance programmes, • Oversee statutory compliance and audit processes, • Lead health & safety strategy, risk management, and reporting, • Manage sustainability data, carbon reporting, and ESOS compliance, • Oversee fleet operations, • Support capital projects and oversee minor works, • Manage budgets, procurement, and contractor performance, • Produce reports for senior leadership and governance Qualifications & Experience • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent), • Senior estates management experience in a multi-site environment, • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and H&S legislation, • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and suppliers, • Experience with energy data, sustainability, or fleet management (desirable) Skills • Strong leadership and team management skills, • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, • Confident reporting to senior leadership, • Analytical and detail-oriented, • Strategic mindset with strong operational focus
