Peopleforce Recruitment for a Customer Contact Specialist in Abingdon for one of our long-standing healthcare partners. This company provides workplace health services by supporting employers monitor employee health, identify risks, and keep workplaces safe using testing and health data. You’ll work as a Customer Service Specialist in the Occupational Health team in Abingdon. Your main job is to: • Help customers book health services, • Answer questions (by phone and email), • Make sure everything runs smoothly and on time You’re basically the first point of contact for customers and play a big role in their overall experience. What you’ll do • Answer customer queries clearly and professionally, • Book appointments/services and guide customers through the process, • Organise clinic schedules and make sure appointments are set up correctly, • Work with external providers to deliver services on time, • Coordinate with internal teams (like clinical and lab teams), • Follow processes and hit targets (KPIs/SLAs), • Do admin tasks to support operations What they’re looking for • Good communication skills (written and spoken), • Some customer service experience (preferred, not essential), • Comfortable using IT (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Salesforce experience is a bonus, • Good at problem-solving and managing workload, • Customer-focused and organised Key qualities • Customer-focused – you care about giving great service, • Proactive – willing to improve processes, • Results-driven – able to meet targets, • Supportive – work well with others, • Reliable – contribute to long-term success
