Your Role As a Health Care Assistant with Axis Healthcare, you will visit service users in their own homes and provide high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting service users with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting., • Assisting with mobility and promoting independence wherever possible., • Supporting with meals, nutrition and hydration., • Providing medication support in accordance with individual care plans and company procedures., • Following personalised care plans and accurately recording the care provided., • Monitoring service users' well-being and promptly reporting any concerns or changes in condition., • Providing companionship and emotional support., • Communicating professionally with service users, families, colleagues and other healthcare professionals., • Travelling between service users' homes throughout Aylesbury and surrounding areas., • Maintaining dignity, privacy, confidentiality and respect at all times. What We're Looking For You should: • Be compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality care., • Hold a valid UK driving licence and have reliable access to a vehicle., • Be able to travel between service users' homes., • Have good spoken and written English., • Have basic IT skills for electronic care records and communication., • Be able to work independently while remaining part of a supportive care team., • Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of our service users. Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, healthcare or a care-home environment is desirable. Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) Certificate of Sponsorship opportunities may be available to suitable candidates who are already working in the UK care sector and are looking to transition from their current employer. Based within a fast-paced control room environment, you will play a key role in ensuring full operational coverage, coordinating staff deployment, responding to incidents, and maintaining high service standards at all times. This is a critical operational role suited to someone who thrives under pressure, can make sound decisions quickly, and has strong logistical and communication skills. Hours of Work: Night shifts, 4 on- 4 off shift rotation.
