You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing cooling plant and associated mechanical systems across our site(s), ensuring all assets are kept in safe, efficient working order. Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on cooling, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical systems including pumps, valves, pipework, and compressors. Support system upgrades, modifications, and energy efficiency improvements. Work closely with electrical and controls engineers to resolve multidisciplinary issues. Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support when required. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Mechanical Engineer Skills & Experience preferred NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or equivalent. The successful candidate will act as the central point of control for reviewing and approving RAMS, monitoring project delivery, and ensuring works are completed to the highest standards with minimal disruption to tenants and stakeholders. Hours of work Monday to Friday WEEK 1 - 07:00am to 16:00pm WEEK 2 - 09:00am to 18:00pm * Flexibility for out-of-hours support as required.
