An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join a growing organisation during a period of technology transformation and business expansion. The successful candidate will provide multi-level IT support across infrastructure, end-user services, networks, and business applications while working closely with the organisation’s Managed Service Provider (MSP). The role will also involve supporting infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, deployments, and security initiatives designed to modernise and strengthen the technology environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver all levels of IT support across end-user devices, servers, networks, and business applications, • Act as an escalation point for incidents and service issues, ensuring SLA adherence and effective resolution, • Maintain and support infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, cloud and on-premise systems, • Perform routine monitoring, patching, backups, maintenance and health checks, • Support infrastructure projects including system migrations, upgrades, deployments, and technology rollouts, • Assist with implementing and maintaining security controls and compliance activities, • Support testing, deployment, documentation and transition of new systems into business-as-usual support, • Participate in change management processes, including implementation and post-change validation, • Apply structured and repeatable approaches to troubleshooting, deployments, and service improvements, • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to maintain service quality and continuous improvement Experience required: • Proven experience delivering multi-level IT support across infrastructure and end-user environments, • Strong administration experience within Windows environments, • Experience supporting end-user devices, desktops, laptops, and endpoint technologies, • Working knowledge of ITIL-based service delivery and structured troubleshooting methodologies, • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent stakeholder and customer satisfaction Desirable Skills: • Experience supporting or contributing to infrastructure and transformation projects, • Practical knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, • Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid environments, • Understanding of endpoint management, networking fundamentals, and security best practices including:, • Intune or SCCM, • DNS and DHCP, • Patching and vulnerability management, • Access control and security policies This role offers a clear progression path for an individual seeking to expand their technical capability within infrastructure and cyber security. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to modernisation projects, security initiatives and scalable IT operations while working alongside experienced leadership in a technically evolving environment. This role is Monday-Friday, hybrid with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. The ability to commute to the office is essential
