As an Activities Co-Ordinator you will be: Co-ordinating social and recreational activities for service users within the secure environment who are unable to freely access public services. Obtaining information from service users regarding their social and recreational interests. Observing general behaviour, ability, and response of service users and report back regularly using verbal and written communications to appropriate team members. Under supervision documenting observations and progress in the service user's clinical notes. Fulfilling the security requirements of the service and adhere to service policies, guidelines, and procedures. Basic risk assessment on a day to day basis to individuals and groups of service users Ensuring that health and safety, welfare and security standards for service users, staff and their visitors are adhered to. Effective skills of co-ordination and use of resources. To be successful in this role, you'll need: Basic group work skills Minimum of 12 months experience within a mental health setting (Desirable) Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team-based framework. It is a specialist service for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. The service offers a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women. You will be working in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on positive risk taking which enables self-reliance and builds trust and self-esteem. The service focuses on psychological input and provides specialist, evidence based interventions including Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Design Engineer (ground improvement) This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a good technical background and demonstrable experience in taking the responsibility for producing designs from within the geotechnical engineering sector, specifically including ground improvement schemes. Specific design experience requirements are rigid inclusion and vibro stone columns (VSC), with PLAXIS 2D / 3D software expertise being essential. This role is hybrid with 3-4 days at home and 1-2 days in the office. The successful Design Engineer candidate must be able to review enquiry documentations to determine the key considerations associated with proposed projects. Our client seeks a high calibre candidate with enthusiasm and drive to make an impact. You must have strong technical acumen coupled with a general passion for ground engineering. You will also have a professional approach and a keen eye for detail, along with excellent communication and IT skills. The Role • Carrying out detailed designs both pre and post contract for ground improvement schemes, • Carrying out settlement analysis to assist in the bidding process, • Assisting the work winning team in securing tenders with comprehensive design assistance, • Providing post contract design reports, • Providing design advice and assistance when contracts are being carried out on site, • Assessing design risks and ensuring our health and safety procedures are met, • Developing relationships with clients where design input is required, • Seeking to continuously improve the design process, gathering internal and external feedback and reviewing projects are completed to a high design standard, • Ensuring design submissions and client communications are of the highest standard of presentation and clarity, are submitted on time and contain the key elements required The Person • Experience of ground improvement design and techniques such as rigid inclusions and VSC, • Proven experience in the use of Plaxis 2D and 3D settlement analysis software is essential, • Ability to understand and interpret SI / GI data, • Ability to produce competitive, innovative and solution driven ground improvement designs, • High level of commercial awareness., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines., • Be able to work independently as well are part of a team, • An ability to prioritise and organise own work effectively Our Client Our client is a market leading foundations and ground engineering contractor.
