The Role As a Java Engineer, you will play a critical role supporting our client in the financial services industry. You will work across cutting‑edge platforms including Payment Networks, Digital Banking, Emerging Payments, and highly scalable data and analytics environments built on Google Cloud Platform, Data Lakes and Power BI. This role involves modern engineering, integration, testing, and hands‑on development within a high‑impact digital landscape. Key Responsibilities • Code analysis and development., • Application testing, debugging and troubleshooting., • Platform integration., • Documentation and knowledge sharing. Your Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience • Strong technical proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, AOP, IoC, DI), JPA, and Hibernate., • Good working knowledge of Spring Boot., • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture., • Hands‑on experience with databases: MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase., • Experience with front‑end development tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery., • Experience in Jenkins CI/CD for deploying Hydra‑based applications., • Experience in Tokenization and Cryptogram technology stacks. Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience • Experience with multi-threading, data binding, dependency properties., • Strong scripting experience: UNIX, SQL, PL/SQL, Apache Cassandra., • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and system testing., • Strong debugging skills., • Proficiency with Git commands., • Good command of Unix commands and shell scripting., • Experience with code quality tools such as Sonar and knowledge of design patterns., • Experience with code reusability and performance optimisation.
