Support Worker – Learning Disabilities

Central Recruitment is currently recruiting Support Workers in the Twickenham area to provide high-quality care and support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Communications Needs and Mobility Needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives by promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing, and inclusion in a person-centred environment. We have work available in various shift patterns, including early, late, waking nights, and sleep-ins. Key responsibilities: The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, including: • Personal care, • Meal preparation, • Administering medication, • Attending health appointments, • Community access and outings, • Budgeting and daily living support, • Laundry and household tasks, • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment We’d love to hear from candidates who are: • Experienced in supporting people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, • Patient, caring, and respectful in their approach, • Confident supporting individuals with different communication needs, • Reliable, proactive, and professional, • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support Further requirements: In order to register with Central Recruitment Services for temporary agency work, candidates must meet the following criteria: • Current valid right to work in the UK, • Minimum 12 months’ of paid experience in a frontline social care role within the last 3 years* (unless recruitment criteria states otherwise), • A fully enhanced DBS registered on the DBS update service or willingness to apply for one through Central (at a cost of £60), • Employment or education history to cover the last 5 years which can be verified through the referencing process How to apply: If you feel that you fully meet the above outlined criteria for this role and would like apply for this post, please forward your CV for consideration. *Please note the outlined experience is the 'minimum' first stage criteria, and we will therefore be unable to consider your application unless you are able to demonstrate a relevant work history in line with this position
